Hi Everyone!
My name is Kristina Diaz and I am the owner and operator of KD Cakes and Confections. I am your typical Arizona girl, born and raised! I love sunshine, good music and most of all, my little family.
I have been in the baking industry for a little over 10 years and I absolutely love what I do. I began this journey as i was on a waiting list for nursing school and realized my passion was not in the medical field, it was in the kitchen. And i guess i never looked back...
Although i do all the baking myself this business doesn't run without the help of my support team AKA my hype squad - which consists of my husband Edgar, and my siblings Cali and Jessie. They are the backbone of this business and the smiley faces that join me at every pop-up.
I am a turn up the tunes and bake at midnight type of girl! You'd laugh at my music selection because one minute i'm listening to Ariana Grande and the next minute i'm singing to Gap Band. I like oldies and vintage style and I find tons of inspiration from different decades. When i am not in the kitchen, i love cruising in our beautiful 1965 Chevy Impala...windows down, wind in my hair... now THAT sounds like the perfect day.
